Review: The Met - Whiteladies Road, Bristol 🍽
An up-market restaurant featuring Asian fusion dishes and a great brunch menu - a fab spot to take you from day to night drinks with friends.

A quaint little pub that’s pet-friendly and has a cosy atmosphere. Not the best for those with babies or small toddlers/children, though.
If you’re looking for a good brunch spot, look no further. It’s a small, yet beautifully formed cafe just off of Whiteladies Road near Clifton. Expect a little wait, but the food and friendly staff make it worth it.
Having been inundated with rave reviews and posts on social media shouting “You need to read this book!”, I was expecting a lot more of it. It’s worth a read, but was a bit of a slog to get through. That said, there were a few gems in there.
A delightful book based on the real-life of Charles Ignatius Sancho, the first black person to vote in England. It’s a vibrant tale that weaves fact with fiction, breathing life into this interesting man. A perfect Christmas gift for any reader, but particularly fans of historic and period fiction.
